Please read through our FAQs for some important information!

What is included in the cost?

Everything you need to fish is provided! A Captain, deckhand, bait, ice, fuel and an extensive array of premium tackle are built-in to the price.

What do I need to bring?

  • You should bring food and drinks for your group, we can provide ice for your cooler and use the cooler to take your fish home!

  • Pack sunscreen, a towel, hat, and/or long sleeves to protect you from the sun. For longer trips, bring a change of clothes and any toiletries needed. Don’t forget your sea sick meds, if needed!

  • A valid Texas Saltwater Fishing License for everyone 17 years and older! A license can be purchased directly from Texas Parks and Wildlife or from any store with a hunting/fishing counter, such as, Academy, Walmart, Cabela’s, Bass Pro, etc.

Are your trips kid friendly?

Yes! We have plenty of experience with young and first-time anglers; that first catch is one they will never forget!

While Texas law doesn’t require children to wear life jackets on vessels our size, we strongly encourage it.

Should I tip the Captain and crew?

Yes! If you enjoy your adventure, it is customary to tip your guides 15-20% of the charter price.

Do I get to keep the fish I catch?

  • Yes!! You keep ALL your fish caught within legal regulations and limits.

What should I NOT bring aboard?

  • Valuables, we are not responsible for loss or damage so leave them at home!

  • Glass containers will not be allowed onboard.

  • BANANAS! Fishing superstition that we won’t test!

Do your boats have restrooms?

Our boats have fully functioning marine heads! This includes a fresh-water shower, sink and toilet. This luxury makes all the difference but does come with strict flushing restrictions. Any and all toilet paper/paper products/etc MUST be placed in the trash can. Do not attempt to flush.

What services do you offer for an additional cost?

  • Taxidermy!

  • Gear!! Represent Angler Charters back home with a hat, shirt or souvenir sticker.

What if the weather is bad when we are scheduled to go out?

If the Captain deems your scheduled day unfishable due to weather, we will reschedule your trip to an agreeable date. If we can not find a day that works for both parties, we will refund your payment in full.

What is the cancelation policy?

Customers must cancel 72 hours in advance for a refund. If you cancel within 72 hours, you will be charged a $100 cancelation fee.
